Work Experience

Lead Interaction Design, Wells Fargo Inc — 2012 to Present

As a Lead Interaction Designer, I am responsible for designing new and enhanced functionality for the online banking and public sites, with an emphasis on usability. This roles required my well-demonstrated skills in interaction design, solidly informed by usability principles, user interface design standards, and best practices. 

Also led the effort for the design system development, and contributed my expertise for UI framework design and development. The Commercial Electronic Office portal for which we did the design system generates 11 trillion dollar transaction every year offering 99 services as in the shape of web applications which are responsive and mobile friendly. Besides my primary role, I also contributed my design skills for the followings as lead interaction designer:

- Reference App for the UI Framework.
- Developer Gateway website.
- Designing the UX game to ignite the empathy in our stakeholder, customers and internal team members.
- Participated in Rapid Prototyping Design Workshop for Developer Gateway Website discovery of Wells Fargo.
- Collaborated with users and partners to design, test and deliver detailed interaction design specification currently in use to build 90+ on the Commercial Electronic Office (CEO).

Founder, Product Designer, Qurtaba LLC — 2008 to 2014

I co-founded Qurtaba LLC to build apps for the Urdu language market spoken by Pakistani and Indian community which in total is 532 million people. As a founder and product designer, the company grew from 0 to 10 employees and produced 5 apps. One of our app became a stepping stone to write Urdu on iOS devices. In 2010, Urdu Writer gain popularity and became the pioneer of writing Urdu language on iOS and got 165,000 downloads in its lifespan with 20,000 session per week. Beside my effort as a co-founder, I played a crucial role of bring a proper Urdu typeface on iOS, macOS and watchOS.

Freelance Interaction Designer, 365 Media LLC — Jan 2012 to March 2012

Recommended design changes to increase the usability of Google Analytics like Dashboard for social media ranking analysis in their existing product. Helped Developer Team to implement the Chart marker for a clean interface without gobbling up the "Chart" lines and markers.

Software Architect/Interaction Designer, Softagon Corporation — 2015 to 2011

Worked as a Software Architect and Interaction Designer. Helped several of Softagon clients to solve their critical business needs using the tools like .Net & Silverlight. Clients include eBay, Partner Fund, Sequoia Capital and AMB Inc (now known as Prologis).

Education

Human-Computer Interaction for User Experience Design

MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab -  Nov 2017 to Feb 2018

This six week course  with real-world applications of technology aimed toward better design and usability of AI, Vision, Speech and 3D Print related products. Lead by the team of MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) – is the largest research laboratory at MIT and one of the world’s most importantcenters of computer science research.
